Isla Canela
If you're looking for somewhere peaceful with beautiful views, non crowded beaches & some 'real' Spanish culture that you can enjoy with family & friends then you might have just found it ! Oh yes, the apartment is a bit special too which is why it was recently featured in Spanish Homes Magazine.
The beaches of Isla Canela are truly breathtaking. The island boasts over 7 kilometres of fine sandy beach beside the clean Atlantic ocean. You can walk along the beach with the sand inbetween your toes from the marina to the beach area. Alternatively, you can walk or cycle along the adjacent promenade. Outside of July and August you will find the beach gloriously uncrowded and even in high season there will always be a quiet area of virgin sand to be found further up the beach.
In the marina area you will find shops, bars and restaurants catering to residents and mariners alike. Across the bay from the marina stands the small fishing village of Punta del Moral. From here the fishing boats depart every morning and return in the afternoon laden with their catch. This rustic village is home to quite a few fish restaurants where you may enjoy delicious meals prepared from the freshest ingredients.
The golf area consists of a small number of low rise apartment communities built around the Island's golf course, affording incredible views in a peaceful, idyllic location, within a few minutes drive of the beach, marina and Ayamonte town.
The attractive clubhouse is a short stroll away across the fairway. There is a permanent golf school as well as a golf shop, a bar and a restaurant. There is also a swimming pool and two bowling greens next to a beautiful terrace on which to sit and relax. The 5 star Vincci Hotel is a few hundred yards away from the clubhouse and a perfect place to enjoy a coffee, lunch or evening meal.
